Parameters Parameter Category Specifications & Details Product Type Power Distribution and Protection Module System Platform Modicon TM4 Modular I/O System Primary Purpose To distribute, manage, and protect the 24V DC power supply for a group of TM4 I/O modules mounted on the same baseplate. Supply Voltage 24 V DC (nominal). Typical operating range: 19.2 V DC to 30 V DC. Output Channels Provides multiple independent 24V DC output branches. Each branch features electronic short-circuit protection (non-fuse). Protection Features Overcurrent & Short-Circuit Protection: In the event of a short circuit on an output branch, that specific branch is automatically isolated without affecting the main supply or other modules. Reverse Polarity Protection: Protects against damage from incorrect power supply connection. Diagnostics LED Status Indicator: Shows power presence and fault conditions. Removable Power Connector: Facilitates wiring and maintenance. Connection Connects to other I/O modules internally via the TM4 system baseplate for both power and data communication. The external power supply is connected via a removable terminal block. Compatibility Designed to be mounted on the same baseplate with all Modicon TM4 I/O modules (Digital Input/Output, Analog Input/Output, Specialty modules, etc.). Typical Application Used in PLC control cabinets to provide safe, reliable, and individually protected power circuits for local I/O devices (e.g., sensors, solenoid valves) within a TM4 station.
