The Foxboro P0914YZ (FCM2F2) is a fiber-optic fieldbus extender/communication module for the I/A Series (and Evo) DCS system. It uses 2 Mbps fiber optics to remotely link fieldbus I/O racks (200-series FBMs) to the control processor (FCP), providing galvanic isolation and noise immunity (EMI/RFI/lightning). It supports 1:1 redundancy for high reliability and extends communication up to 10 km in harsh industrial environments.
